ALU

Control Unit

Memory

The CPU contains a bounded memory that can’t keep a massive amount of data. Therefore, it has a separate storage device that is registered. These registers are storage mediums that can store massive data that the CPU needs to run. The CPU also has another memory device which is called cache. It holds all the data for a brief time so that the processor can operate those instructions if they are required instantly.
